What will you be doing

As an expert Test (Automation) Engineer, you will ensure software will meet the highest quality standards. You will set out to design, develop and execute (automated) tests and test plans that ensures all requirements and QA-standards are met.

You will utilize tools like Selenium, Cypress, TestNG and Robot Framework to execute the tests. You report your findings back to cross-functional teams that work in a DevOps environment, which you are a part of.

To ensure software remains futureproof, you will maintain and update existing test plans and test cases and optimise them if required. All of this is done in an Agile environment supported by TDD.

Your skills

ISTQB or TMap NEXT certification
Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, .NET and TypeScript/ JavaScript
Experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, TestNG and Robot Framework
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, SAFe, DevOps and/or CI/CD methodologies
Demonstrable 3+ years of work experience in testing and/or test automation

Any experience with the item(s) below is a plus:

Experience with cloud-based testing and cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS, Azure or GCP)
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with performance, load- and security testing
Understanding of mobile testing and mobile automation tools

Qualifications

An expert at your field or the drive to become one
Working experience in the Netherlands is required
Good understanding of software design principles and patterns
Good knowledge of Java, JavaScript, Python and/ or .NET
Bachelor`s or Master`s degree in Computer Science or related field
English B2 and Dutch A2 is required
